Seth and I graduated from BYU April 2007. Our beautiful son Simeon was born that May. I started running again in June with the encouragement of Seth and Lybi. Seth, Lybi, Laura, and their mom are the ones who really keep me running :P

I ran in shorts today! It got up to 62 degrees in Belen today. It was such a beautiful day. Seth had to go to the doctor to update his shots so he dropped me off at his parents' house on the way. I ran outside in order to take advantage of the sun. I really need the Vitamin D. I don't get out much :) Unfortunately it was a little too windy for perfect running conditions. On the way out it seemed like there was only a slight breeze, but coming back I was running into the wind and was surprised at how strong it was. Anyway, I wimped out and ended up walking about 1/4 of a mile. Still it was a great day for running!

Also, my knee was a little sore. I think it always is when I haven't run outside for a while. It is still sore tonight, but it has definitely been worse :)

We had a warm day here too, but also had to endure the wind ruining it slightly. 62 - wow! I think we were only 52 or so. Sorry about your knee - is it right behind your knee cap? My back is actually bugging me this evening, too. I think I need a chiropractor again (surprise, surprise!).

Good job, Kristina! Getting outside in the elements, and braving the New Mexico Norester, huh? You are going to have a great race. It's on St. Patrick's day, right?

My 5K is in March :( It is probably not going to go well. And Simeon gets cuter by the second. That is an old picture but still one of my favorites :)
