Seth and I graduated from BYU April 2007. Our beautiful son Simeon was born that May. I started running again in June with the encouragement of Seth and Lybi. Seth, Lybi, Laura, and their mom are the ones who really keep me running :P

I decided to do a short run today since we have a lot going on. Today is roadshow day! AHHHH!

Anyway, I was surprised that in some ways this run was very easy. I guess it has been quite a while since I have done such a short run. So it was easier because I could actually breathe. Aside from the aches and pains all up and down my legs, it was actually a very comfortable run, if that makes any sense.

My legs were pretty sore though (which reminds me that I want to ice my shins). My shins hurt, my knee hurt, my thighs hurt, my hips hurt. I did some extra good stretching after my run today and was actually surprised at how limber I am getting.  I haven't been able to stretch that far since before I was pregnant. Stretching really is a great thing. Have I told everyone that I think stretching is a really great thing. I hope none of you get tempted to skimp on your stretching after you run. If you don't have time to stretch then I would say cut your run shorter and make time to stretch. It is that important. But then I'm not Sasha so what do I know and who is going to listen to me anyway, right? Ha ha. Anyway, happy running (and stretching) to you all!

I love stretching. It feels good and it gives one an excuse to lay around for a few moments.

Hope the roadshow was a huge hit. You'll have to tell us all about it!

You're so funny, Kristina!! All the REALLY important people on this blog are listening to you and remembering to stretch!! ;o) I actually do really like stretching, too. I think I'm more limber now than I ever have been because of all my stretching after runs. So, why is everything hurting so much???? Ahhh!

Mom said the Roadshow was GREAT last night!!! Congratulations! The only problem is ... you won't be released now. ;o) hee,hee
