Seth and I graduated from BYU April 2007. Our beautiful son Simeon was born that May. I started running again in June with the encouragement of Seth and Lybi. Seth, Lybi, Laura, and their mom are the ones who really keep me running :P

I went running with the snortums in the stroller today. He always likes that. He holds perfectly still with his fat little chin resting on his chest and his eyes as bit as dinner plates. He's so cute.

Anyway, I was feeling a bit sluggish today. When I started running my first thought was that my legs felt like they had 50 pound weights strapped to them. When I finished running, my legs felt kind of jello-like and my arms could have sworn that Simeon weighed 30 pounds rather than 13 or 14.

Still, my total time was 15:21. I didn't look at the watch after I walked the .2 but usually my total time is around 14 or 14:30 so that isn't too bad. I expected worse. Especially since my other times were without the stroller.

Wow, Kristina!!!!! You've done something every single day this week!! You're awesome!!!!!

Oh, that is SOOOO annoying about your drivers license! What a frustrating set of circumstances that leads to no license for... who knows how long. Ugh. So, does Seth just go and leave the car at the train depot? or do you carefully drive home obeying every single traffic law with exactness? ha, ha! That's probably what I might do - ssshh! don't tell.

So are you able to run your mile without walking or are you still doing both? I'm definitely still doing both.

Yes it is very annoying. Unfortunately our our car is having electrical problems so sometimes the blinkers work and sometimes they don't. Since that greatly increases the chance that I will get pulled over, Seth takes the car to the train depot everyday.

I always walk to warm up and then I run the rest. There is a road by our house that loops around and it is 1.2 miles. So I like to walk the .2 and then run the mile. By the end I'm usually really tired and wanting to walk but somehow I manage to push through. Don't worry, you will get there. It just takes time and consistency, two things that it is hard for mothers to have:)
