Seth and I graduated from BYU April 2007. Our beautiful son Simeon was born that May. I started running again in June with the encouragement of Seth and Lybi. Seth, Lybi, Laura, and their mom are the ones who really keep me running :P

I haven't been to good about blogging lately. Oops. I went back and typed in the miles I did last week. I got busy after exercising and forgot to blog what I did.

Anyway, I went over and used the elliptical this morning. Now that the weather is getting colder I'll probably do most of my jogging on the elliptical or at the rec center. Actually I really like running on the treadmill. It's fun.

I ran on the elliptical this morning. It really does wear me out faster. It's hard to do a lot of time on it. But I am trying to slowly add time.

I went to the rec center this morning. I had a really great run on the treadmill. I have been walking .25 then running a mile then walking .25 again. I ran most of my mile at 11:30 pace but the last .25 I ran at 10:30 pace which felt really good. I'm not sure I am ready to run an entire mile at that pace but that last lap felt really good at that pace so I will try to do more of it next time. At the end of the run I felt really good, like I could have done more. I guess maybe I should have kept running since I felt like it, but I didn't. Next time though, I will try adding another lap and I will see what happens.

I went over to use the elliptical this morning. The best part about using the elliptical is that I get to eat a good breakfast. I usually don't eat very good breakfasts when I'm home alone. oops.

There were lots of dogs out on the ditch bank. So I guess it was a bad day to run outside. So ended up walking most of the way.
