Seth and I graduated from BYU April 2007. Our beautiful son Simeon was born that May. I started running again in June with the encouragement of Seth and Lybi. Seth, Lybi, Laura, and their mom are the ones who really keep me running :P

I went to the rec center this morning. I had a really great run on the treadmill. I have been walking .25 then running a mile then walking .25 again. I ran most of my mile at 11:30 pace but the last .25 I ran at 10:30 pace which felt really good. I'm not sure I am ready to run an entire mile at that pace but that last lap felt really good at that pace so I will try to do more of it next time. At the end of the run I felt really good, like I could have done more. I guess maybe I should have kept running since I felt like it, but I didn't. Next time though, I will try adding another lap and I will see what happens.

So, does the rec center have child care? Or do you leave Simeon with Mom? Either way, it sounds like you're getting some great running in! Simeon's Halloween pictures were so darn cute!

What are you guys planning to do for Thanksgiving? It's 2 weeks away, and we still haven't decided yet!!!! Ah!!!!

I think it's good to not wear yourself out completely every time--especially when you are in the early stages of base building. Good job!

The rec center doesn't have child care. I just put simeon's car seat on the floor next to me. He doesn't seem to mind. There is lots of fun stuff to look at and there is music. He likes music.

We are planning to go to my parents house for thanksgiving.
