Seth and I graduated from BYU April 2007. Our beautiful son Simeon was born that May. I started running again in June with the encouragement of Seth and Lybi. Seth, Lybi, Laura, and their mom are the ones who really keep me running :P

Today after I took Seth to the train I drove down to his parents house so his mom could hold Simeon while I went for a run. It's something I plan to do more often now. His mom was way excited to see the baby.

The weather was great today. I got to their house at 7 am and started my run around 7:15. It was 54 degrees outside. At first it felt kind of cool but once I started running it felt great. It was also nice to be able to run on the ditch bank again.

I hadn't run for a while so I didn't push myself too hard. I started out with a fast walk and then ran until the half-mile mark, then I ran all the way back. It was a good run.

Great job, Kristina! Ya, Mom will REALLY be supportive of your running if you let her hold Simeon while you do it. You have grandchild leverage now. He he he.

Great running, Kristina. I wish we were closer - it sounds like you and I are about the exact same level (unless you run faster than me, which is entirely possible!). If only we could be running partners! We should enter a 5K together when you finish nursing!

Don't worry Laura, I don't think I run faster than anyone alive haha.

So you have a blog site now!! I was just scrolling through looking for James' and I saw a Kristina and wondered if it would be yours. It is!!!! I would love to hold the baby any day. Sorry I bombed out on you yesterday. Love you. Mom
