I really appreciate all of the encouragement I have been getting about my race. And after my run this morning I am actually feeling a lot better about it. I did 15 minutes on the elliptical this morning. I usually double the distance that it displays in order to make up for the alternate dimension effect of the elliptical. Usually even after doubling my distance I still feel discouraged so I round to the nearest half mile. But this morning, after 15 minutes, the distance said .83. Doubling that is 1.66 in 15 minutes. It made me pretty happy. And it wasn't too hard either. My thighs felt a bit like jello when I was done, but it was a good jello feeling rather than a bad one :)
Laura, it would be really, really fun if you came down to run the race with me. If you can manage it I would love that, but if you can't make it that is okay too. Thanks for the support!
